Nayanthara has reunited with Mayan director Ashwin Saravanan for a new horror film called Connect. The film was announced on Nayanthara’s 37th birthday.

Lady Superstar Nayanthara reunited with Maya and Game Over director Ashwin Saravanan for another horror film called Connect. On the occasion of its 37th anniversary today, November 18, the title and first posters of Connect were unveiled. Besides Nayanthara, Anupam Kher and Sathyaraj were invited to play key roles in this one-of-a-kind horror film.


Nayanthara celebrated her 37th birthday with her fiance Vignesh Shivan in Chennai. The latter threw a birthday party attended by close friends and family. On this special day, Nayanthara’s upcoming film starring Vignesh Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures has been announced.

The actress will team up with director Ashwin Saravanan for a film called Connect. The horror film will also star Sathyaraj and Anupam Kher in crucial roles. The creators unveiled two posters in Tamil and English on Nayanthara’s birthday.

Sharing the posters, Rowdy Pictures wrote: “Here’s the ad you’ve been waiting for! I bring you the first look of #Connect on this very special day #HBDNayanthara #Connect #ConnectFirstLook @VigneshShivn @AnupamPKher #Sathyaraj @Ashwin_saravana (sic). “

Nayanthara was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe, which still performs successfully in theaters. She is now awaiting the release of her next film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which hits theaters in December. The actress is currently filming for Shah Rukh Khan’s Lion with director Atlee. She also has the Telugu Godfather movie, Malayalam Gold movie, and an untitled Tamil movie with a rookie director.
