Here’s something scary: the day io9 received an email inviting us to debut the new trailer for Joshua Grannell’s 2010 horror comedy cult classic all about evil, I happened to be wearing my ‘Peaches Christ Is My Homegirl’ sweatshirt – Peaches Christ being Grannell’s horror-loving drag alter ego. The movie gods have aligned, and all about evilfeaturing Russian dollby Natasha Lyonneis a lot of fun, so without further ado, here’s that trailer!

This new trailer looks like a previously hard-to-find indie film, starring Lyonne as a librarian turned theater owner turned deranged splatter movie queen—is poised for its highest visibility in more than a decade. On June 10, Severin Films is releasing a new HD restoration of all about evil on Blu-ray, with special new archival features, and will also co-present “the gala resurrections of the now infamous ‘Peaches Christ 4-D Experience’ screenings” on June 9 at Loz Feliz 3 in Los Angeles, and on June 11 at the Victoria Theater in San Francisco, where the film itself was shot.

For the uninitiated: Christ Peaches hosted a long-running cult film series in San Francisco called “Midnight Mass,” and Grannell is a top-notch genre expert. The writer-director’s two personalities have blended seamlessly in the creation of this campy, witty, horrifying film – an energetic celebration of low-budget horror and exploitation films of the past. It boasts a killer performance from Lyonne and a supporting cast that includes Peaches Christ herself, as well as Elvira, Mistress of Darkness (a.k.a Cassandra Peterson), the icon of John Waters Mink Stole (Flamingos, Women’s Problems, Desperate Life), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles‘Thomas Dekker, and Knives outIt’s Noah Segan.

Severin Films also has some new key elements for the film, which are too good not to share:
