Indie Film Festival Calls on San Antonio Creatives for Scary Films

Creative San Antonians who embrace all things monstrous, spooky and spooky — and looking to scare silly people this Halloween season — now have their chance, thanks to a local independent film festival.

Terror High Film Fest, a non-profit festival organized by the Association of Creative Multimedia Partners that celebrates short films in the horror genre, is calling on all filmmakers in the San Antonio area to submit their short films for the second annual festival of horror movie.

There’s no fee for the filmmakers to enter their gruesome masterpieces, but – not to chill your blood – the October 10 submission deadline is fast approaching.

This year’s virtual festival, scheduled for October 23, is a free community event, with all films streamed live online.

The “categories” in which filmmakers can submit their works include:

  • Long-form short films, 26-59 minutes
  • Short films, 10-25 minutes
  • Great short films, under 10 minutes

Filmmakers can submit their work on the Terror High website under the Submit a Film tab or at www.filmfreeway.com/TerrorHighFilmFestival.

More details about the bizarre film festival will be released soon. Follow Terror High Film Fest on Instagram for updates.
